Orientation using gyro
One of my team has mentioned that it is no longer possible to use the inbuilt gyro of a smart device to orient the panorama correctly.
Is this the case, and if so, are there any workarounds?

Re: Problems uploading to webspace
Think I may have found where part of the problem lies. We use Google File Stream extensively. This is essentially a business version of Google Drive for colleagues. All our projects exist on a sort of local cache drive: when we save to it, they are sync'd to Google FS. I think the build process from...

Re: Problems uploading to webspace
I tried uploading with Core FTP LE and had a few blurry areas still. I used Core FTP to compare the 'tiles' folders and it found no differences. I then launched FileZilla and uploaded the entire tiles folder again, saying to overwrite if the sizes were different. I still see the blurry tiles in plac...

Re: Some parts blurry after upload
Ignore - now found my other thread highlighting same problem. I'll communicate on that one instead.

Re: Problems uploading to webspace
I'll try that, but this is also happening with a different FTP program called Core FTP LE. Very bloody annoying. I can't believe just how many files a relatively simple panoramic tour creates. Latest one is 12 positions, and there are over 2500 files. Any more up to date solutions for successfully u...

Some parts blurry after upload
I am regularly getting an issue where I upload my virtual tour and find that some of the areas of the panoramas remain blurred. It's as though the tiles for the high res versions aren't uploading. Any tips? I've tried Filezilla (which gave lots of these issues) and more recently Core FTP LE which re...

Hotspot to launch a zoomable image
Is it possible to have a hotspot (a polygonal hotspot) launch a full screen (or near full screen) image that is then zoomable? If so, is this responsive and available cross platform (iOs and Android)? Also if so, can this be a PDF (rather than a jpeg)? Also 'also' if so, can this be a multipage PDF?...

Re: Problems uploading to webspace
We still get these sorts of problems. Anybody have a foolproof method to upload sites?

Re: Turn a pinned image into a hotspot
Heck - my brain is melting! I found your webinar video which is really useful:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uFgGM-s-3E&t=10s&ab_channel=GardenGnomeSoftware But in my case, I want to tell a pinned image to be a 'hotspot' to make a different image appear centre screen. I followed the webi...

Re: Turn a pinned image into a hotspot
I'll check that out. Any way to prevent the pinned image from disappearing so I can make the polygon hotspot the same size as it?

$(hd) meaning
I am trying to break down a hot spot image slide in action. Where can I find what this text means? I've seen instruction somewhere, but cannot find it - $(hd)

Turn a pinned image into a hotspot
Hi
I've created a tour in which I have added several pinned image labels floating over buildings. I want to allow the user to click on those labels and have information pop up about that building: this might be just text or it could be another image.
How might I do this?

Re: Measuring distances within a panorama
Understood.
We actually create our panoramas from 3D models, so creating a depth map should be reasonably painless. Obvs I am not suggesting you develop just for us
FYI this is a tour we have almost complete:
