Re: Oculus Rift and Pano2vr
Just a bump on this one - is there anything in development for getting pano2VR working on the rift? I see 'the viewer' gets a lot of press as it has an app you can download for this. Thanks Hi Bobski, If you send me an email at info [at] vrtourviewer [dot] com I can send you a version that works wi...

Re: Oculus Rift and Pano2vr
Hi Tony, Since the VR Tourviewer app is not available through Google Play or the Oculus Store, for installing the app you have to temporarily enable allow 'unknown sources' on your phone. Settings > Lockscreen and Security > Unknown sources > enable this. If this does not do the trick, please let me...

Re: GearVR offline viewing - workarounds
VR Tourviewer can do this, you can download it here: https://www.vrtourviewer.com It's specifically designed to show Pano2CR multinode tours. Supports mono and stereoscopic panoramas, simple node navigation, audio, image and video overlays and video panoramas. Skins are not supported though. And it'...

Re: Output for Samsung Gear VR
You could try the VR Tourviewer for Android app with a Samsung S6,S7 or S8 with the Gear VR: https://www.vrtourviewer.com It's specifically written to display Pano2VR tours on Gear VR and uses the Gear VR extra sensors and low latency for a smooth experience. Re: Incorrect Rectangle initial size
You can probably fix that by changing the background of the html page that contains the tour to the same color as the tour background. Edit the tour.html and in the <head> section, go to the <style type="text/css" title="Default"> and inside the body { } add: background-color: rg...

Re: VR stereo cross
This can be an issue when the perceived depth of the cross is further away from the viewer than the perceived depth of the stereoscopic subject. It's called 'voluntary diplopia'. Would it be possible to specify the depth of the stereo cross per panorama? Ie: place the left cross more to the right, a...

Re: Oculus Rift and Pano2vr
Hi MRice and VirtualPlace.ru, I've developed an Android app with Unity that shows Pano2VR tours on the Gear VR: VR Tourviewer . It uses Oculus VR drivers so it could also work on the Rift if I build a Windows version. I don't have a Rift myself so if you have some time to test this, please send me a...

VR Tourviewer shows Pano2VR tours on Gear VR : https://www.vrtourviewer.com With the use of the Gear VR extra sensors and low latency of the Unity implementation, this results in a much better experience than with the webview/browser workaround. It currently supports 2D and 3D online and offline (fr...

Re: How to see tour on Samsung Gear VR
Hi IronWagen, You can download an app called 'Package Disabler Pro', with it you can temporarily disable the Oculus Home app, to do this place a checkmark at 'vrsvc' (Gear VR service). Then you can watch a tour using the Chrome browser and put the phone into the Gear, it won't be interupted by Oculu...
