Re: Thumbnail Menu Issue with Title

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I have tried a few of those with no luck. I will keep plugging away.

Thumbnail Menu Issue with Title

Hi there, I have an odd issue with the titles of a thumbnail menu... more specifically, when the tour is viewed full screen in the browser, (and no thumbnail scrollbar appears) the title of the first thumbnail in the menu is cut-off (see attachment 1). Screen Shot 2022-01-12 at 10.58.55 AM.png But w...

Migration from Windows 10 to Mac OS X

Has anyone migrated their Pano2VR installation and old projects to a Mac OS X system?

Wondering if there are any issues or caveats or if you have any tips in doing so?

Can you tell, I just got a brand new Mac and want to start using it for tours.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Google Analytics Component

Yes I sure do. Actually, I did a bit more digging inside the GA console abd discovered that the udt is indeed being captured, but just not been by displayed in this new version of the GA console. So I think the GA component is working fine... I just need to learn how to extract the info I’m looking ...

Re: Google Analytics Component

I have implement the GA component in my sites for a recent project and I am seeing event data in my GA 4 dashboard, but I am not seeing pano names at all. I have the following type of action script in place on important buttons in my skin, changing only the event name: javascript:gtag('event', 'Phot...

Pass a Variable in tour hyperlink?

I have created a tour for a client who’s will embed this tour on two different websites. Is it possible to pass a variable value to the tour from within the iframe embed code?? The use case is to start the tour in a different state (different logos, text, and panos) depending on where it is embedded...

Re: Skin Templates with variables

I figured it out with the help of another tutorial I found. I wasn't adding the logo files as assets under the Advanced tab (I've never done that before). Even still though, I could not get it to work with your project file. I create my own test project form scratch with the same principles and it w...

Re: Skin Templates with variables

Thanks for this Martin. I have taken a look and I understand how it is supposed to work, but I cannot get to load the specified logo and URL. here are my variables settings: skinvars.JPG The viewer loads with a logo in the banner, but when I click it brings me to your site. Another thing... should t...

Start Panorama Rotates Slightly at Startup

I just noticed that my start panorama (only) rotates slightly when it first loads in the browser. It doesn't do this when revisiting the pano in the tour, only at startup. It wasn't like this until I started playing with timers and autorotate on close actions or something.

Please help.

Re: Auto-Rotation and Hotspots

Thanks Martin. So I tried adding a timer, and it does work, but has unintended consequences. Is there a way to stop a timer with an action? I tried setting the timer value to 0 thru an action but that didn't work. You see, the problem I have is that on the hotspot I have an action that stops autorot...

Re: Facebook Videos in Hotspots

I think I follow, Martin.

So to set the iframe, I’d put the iframe code in the hotspot description and then add an action to the hotspot setting the $hd to the empty text box element.

I’ll give that a go! Greatly appreciated as always. 👌

Re: Facebook Videos in Hotspots

A little update... I was able to get this work using an iframe embed code inside a text box in info popup. Only problem now is, if the viewer does not pause the video before clicking the X to close the popup, the audio from the video keeps playing in the background. I tried adding a stop media actio...

Facebook Videos in Hotspots

My client has asked about the possibility of linking to and displaying Facebook-hosted videos in the tour (like we can do with YouTube video hotspots)?

I have tried a few things with the video hotspot and link he provided to me, but cannot get it to load.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Auto-Rotation and Hotspots

So I added the mouse-click stop autorotate action to the hostpots and then mouseclick toggle autorotation to the respective close buttons. This sort of works, except that autorotation begins immediately after closing the pop-up. I was hoping the autorotate time would kick in at this point instead, a...
