Re: How do I prevent the user zooming in?

Thanks Dave. I hadn't realised this controlled the zoom.

However, I'd still like to know if this can be set in my normal.ggt file, so that it will set all of my panos (saving me from having to set each pano separately)

Re: Some questions for 4.5 beta 2

Regarding: 4. HTML5 template - normal.ggt Been added to the template that any important changes? I modified the old "normal.ggt" 4.1. Does this mean that I have to redo again a new template for my works? I was a bit miffed when the update replaced my normal.ggt template. I too had made sev...

How do I prevent the user zooming in?

How can I stop the user zooming in on a pano other than disabling the mouse and mousewheel?
Is there something I can do in the normal.ggt file?

Re: Has anyone used the Ricoh Theta?

Thanks Texas360, Jim and Hopki for your helpful comments. As I'm still at the prototype stage with my project the more expensive possibilities are not appropriate at this stage. The Ricoh Theta is a good idea but the fisheye effect does not give me what I want. What I have ended up doing is to buy a...

Has anyone used the Ricoh Theta?

My search for an easy solution to my need to create reasonable panos for indoor environments is narrowing down.

I'm now looking into the "Ricoh Theta". Has anyone had any experience with this camera. Are there any examples that I can look at?
I have heard that it is a bit grainy. Is it?

Re: Anyone used the 0-360 Panoramic Optic?

I live in the Uk. I'm working on a project to create a kind of virtual reality market place. I have done this in real life (in London's Carnaby Street) and also in the Second-life environment. I'm now working on the idea that I can do this using panos. I've more or less got the programming and web s...

Re: Anyone used the 0-360 Panoramic Optic?

I plan to buy a camera and lens(es). What would you recommend would be a sensible choice to create reasonable quality indoor panos?

Re: Anyone used the 0-360 Panoramic Optic?

Thanks for your reply. I thought this product might be too good to be true - although the examples on their web site looked really good.
What would you suggest would be the best solution for making 360 degree, indoor panos (houses and shops) - of reasonable quality?

Anyone used the 0-360 Panoramic Optic?

The 0-360 Panoramic Optic camera lens device seems to be a convenient way to create panos.
Has anyone used this? Is it any good? Any problems or limitations?

Removing an element from a container

This should be easy and obvious but I don't seem to be able to do it. In my skin I have a container in which I have dragged several buttons. Now I want to take one of the buttons out of the container. I've tried dragging one out but it refuses to stay out. I've tried several ways to take out an elem...

Re: Hiding skin when using a hash link with a hotspot

Hi Hopki, It doesn't happen in the skin. The skin can be any skin. The popup is triggered from the URL field of the hotspot i.e., #myPopUp This hash link takes the page view to a <div> with an id name matching the hash call i.e., <div id = "myPopUp"> This div (with its class i.e., class=&q...

Hiding skin when using a hash link with a hotspot

I want to be able to use a hash link to bring up a popup image when I click on a hotspot (i.e., URL = #MyImage).
This works fine except that the skin (control buttons) is visible over the image. How can I arrange for the skin to be under my image (or to be invisible)?

Viewing a pano on a kindle fire tablet

I just tried to run my pano on a kindle fire. I just got a grey screen: no pano image. However, something must be working because when I drag across the screen my skin radar dial (which is showing) revolves as it would do if there was an image. Is the fault with my Pano or is there a problem with ru...
