Standalone JavaScript platform NW.js
I thought this looked cool so I tried it, following the instructions on http://ggnome.com/wiki/Creating_a_Desktop_Application#Windows and http://ggnome.com/wiki/HTML5_Output_%28Pano2VR%29 I downloaded and unzipped the windows 64 bit version nwjs-v0.12.0-alpha2-win-x64 Used one pano in 64 bit Pano2VR...

Re: problem loading tiff files into Pano2VR 64bit
I worked it out. Pano2VR 3.1 no longer supports TIFF files that have zip compression. It works with lzw or no compression.

problem loading tiff files into Pano2VR 64bit
When I drag and drop an equirectangular tiff file - or use file open - onto pano2VR 64bit version 3.10 I get the usual image rescaling box but no image appears and if I try to convert it - for example to cube faces - they are just black cubes. If I drag the same image into a 2.3.4 version it works n...

Re: Loader, where has it gone?
Thanks very much.
I found it in the skin editor and was able to figure out how to get this to appear - although it wasn't very user friendly even with the help file.
Looks OK now, thanks for the assistance.

Loader, where has it gone?
I downloaded and installed version 2.2.2 and discovered there is no longer anywhere to set the loader characteristics - color and position.
I see there is still a basic %loaded that comes up (in white) but no loader bar.
Is there a "new" loader set up and where is it?

AVI file to incorporate into video slideshow
I am still using Beta 6.
I want to produce a video slide show and am using ProShow Gold which takes both digital images and video clips and assembles them into a slideshow.
Can you suggest a way to produce a non-interactive video clip from a sphere image showing one 360 pan?
Thanks,

Re: full screen error
I re-did the web page and swf file for the spheres that had the problem. I checked the settings first and could not find anything different from the other images. But when I just re-did the files they worked fine on full screen. I have no idea why but all is OK now.

full screen error
I have just uploaded a group of sphere images and some of them show the following when I click on the full screen mode. SecurityError: Error #2152: Full screen mode is not allowed. at flash.display::Stage/set displayState() at SkinObjectClass/::doClick() This is in a Flash 9 warning box. The warning...

Re: swf won't load into movie
The container needs to be of the same or higher version so this would not work. You have to switch to CS3 if you want to load Flash 8 movies. The problem is with Actionscript - I AM using CS3 but CS3 can program in either Actionscript2 or Actionscript3. The main movie that I want to load into is a ...

swf won't load into movie
I was using Pano2QT and loading the movies into a Main Movie. All worked perfectly. I am using CS3 version 9 for the main movie. I downloaded the Pano2VR Beta 5a, re-did the old movies into new movies. They work fine by themselves, but when I substituted the revised movies for the old ones in my pro...

Re: "out of Memory" @ hotspotscreation
I forgot to mention that Thomas' work-around does work - just go to file, settings and uncheck the hotspots box. This solves the out of memory problem and probably this should be the default. It seems to work perfectly with this unchecked anyway so I'm not sure what the edit cube faces as a cross is...

Re: "out of Memory" @ hotspotscreation
I have the same problem - but notice that the first time I use the program after booting up the hot spot editor works fine. But the second time I try to use it (for example to add another hotspot or change the first one) the program has a memory problem and crashes. The warning says: Hotspots:pano2v...
