Re: iOS 7 issue - URL bar in the way

Hopki, this is great - thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I don't believe i should have issues applying your solution.

thanks,

iOS 7 issue - URL bar in the way

Hey everyone, I just downloaded iOS 7 on my older iPhone 4S to test out any issues that may occur to my tours. So far, I've only noticed a couple of issues. One, some images no longer span the width of my screen (should be an easy fix). The other issue, why I'm writing this, is the URL bar at the to...

Re: HTML5 pano works very slow on iOS 6

I've noticed the original size of a panorama image makes a difference. My images from my Canon Xti (6000px) were smoother than my Canon 7D (approx 13,000px) even when it was set to a max of 6000 once in the program. Not sure if it is actually something else, but this may be worth trying out. Thanks,...

Re: About v 4.1.0

I've recently created a tour for iPhone screen specifically (HTML5 output only). When I updated a tour of mine with 4.1, the "change relative position" became too sensitive. If you VERY quickly touch a graphic with a command of "change relative position" it moves the correct amou...

HTML5 audio issue (iOS)

I know many of you aren't fans of iOS devices, and there's plenty of reasons why. That being said, I have a client who is using a few iPod Touches to provide an art tour to guests of a hotel. I have the first floor almost complete, and when I tested the functionality on Safari it worked perfectly. T...

Re: Multiple pinned videos

Martin,

Makes sense! I could always add a button with a command to increase the size (if the tour needs it).

Thanks for the help.

Re: Multiple pinned videos

Thanks Hopki for the quick reply. However, my issue isn't around posting a YouTube video in flash, but actually resizing the video window. I currently use the steps you mentioned, but have been searching for a way to make my screen size 300 x 200 instead of the standard size. That way it can fit on ...

Re: Multiple pinned videos

Thanks Martin! Until there is a solution to this issue, I'm trying to figure out how to resize my YouTube videos in Flash. I tried using a script from a forum post, but it doesn't seem to work. It causes my interface toolbar to disappear. Here's the script: <object style="height: 390px; width: ...

Multiple pinned videos

Hey everyone, Is there a way to have multiple pinned videos layered on top of each other, and each video be brought up by a command rather than being there always? I want to have a series of videos coming from a tv, but they currently all start at the same time and you only see one of them since it'...

Re: iOS 6 & 6.01

Correct, but for some reason, if you've already have created a project and saved it...when you reopen it, the project will go back to kb until you re-output the project again. Not sure why it doesn't stay at MB always, but that's very minor. Hopki, did my response to your previous question make sens...

Re: iOS 6 & 6.01

Frank, How is the output calculated? XML + Cubes + Audio + Video on a per scene basis? Since the audio and video stream separately are they included or not? Thanks for your insight. AJ I'm not positive how it's calculated. My older tour has audio which is embedded, but all my videos are youtube (no...

Re: iOS 6 & 6.01

Hi Frank, Interesting, whats the file size of the cube faces that spin ok to that that don't? Regards, Hopki I made them all the same size as you've instructed 1440 max @ 70% Mobile 1024 x 960 @ 70% 960 x 600 @ 70% 480 x 416 @ 70% Is there another place I should be looking for file sizes? When inse...

Re: iOS 6 & 6.01

So after spending some time updating my older HTML5 tours to not only ensure they're matching the new '70% image compression' best practice...I began to notice a trend. Any tours with an output under 2MB worked better than any over that amount. I have a tour that's 1.9MB that seems to work very smoo...

Re: iOS 6 & 6.01

I've done all you've said and I still am having issues with iPhone 4's, 3GS, and 3G. iPhone 4S works, but still not as smooth as it originally did. If I figure out any extra tips, I will be sure to post.

Thanks,

Frank
